Elvish Yadav recently made headlines with his apparent response to the controversy surrounding Munawar Faruqui, who was detained following a hookah bar raid in Mumbai. Alongside 13 others, Munawar was questioned by the police before being released. In a twist of fate, Elvish, a former winner of a Bigg Boss spin-off show (Bigg Boss OTT), found himself entangled in a snake venom case that led to his arrest earlier this month. Following the news of Munawar's detention, Elvish took to X (previously known as Twitter) to share a cryptic post poking fun at the Bigg Boss 17 winner. He humorously questioned whether life takes a downturn after emerging victorious on the Salman Khan-hosted reality show. This sardonic remark added a layer of irony given Elvish's own recent legal troubles.
Reports from ANI detailed the hookah bar raid in Mumbai's Bora Bazar, where Munawar and others were apprehended. The Mumbai Police confirmed that all individuals were released after interrogation. The police suspected tobacco use disguised as herbal and called in experts to analyze the substances found at the scene.

Elvish's own run-in with the law involved his arrest by Noida Police in connection with a snake poisoning case, resulting in charges under the Wildlife Protection Act and criminal conspiracy laws. Despite being granted bail a week later, Elvish faced scrutiny after snakes and venom were discovered during a raid in Noida. The YouTuber distanced himself from any involvement with the incident or the reptiles, despite his name being linked to the case.
